Parts Advisor £32,000 - £34,000 Basic Salary (Depending on Experience) Permanent | Full Time Monday to Friday (8:00am – 6:00pm) No Weekend Work Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy Aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive parts professional who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, building strong working relationships and working within a fast-paced dealership environment.
You'll play a key role in supporting both the workshop and retail customers, ensuring parts are supplied accurately and efficiently while helping to drive the success of the department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process parts orders from start to finish, accurately identifying and supplying the correct parts.
- Advise customers and colleagues on parts availability, pricing and suitable alternatives where required.
- Pick, pack and dispatch parts efficiently while keeping customers and technicians updated.
- Maintain accurate stock control and ensure all parts movements are recorded correctly.
- Support workshop technicians by supplying parts in a timely manner.
- Promote additional products and identify opportunities to maximise parts sales.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure the parts department remains organised and efficient.
- Work closely with the wider Aftersales team to achieve departmental objectives. Your Background & Skills
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the automotive industry is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of automotive parts and stock control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- IT literate and confident using dealership computer systems.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive approach.
