Our client, located in the Exeter area, is on the search for an experienced Service/Vehicle Technician to join their busy team! The salary for this role is very varied as it will depend on your experience and brand training, so realistic expectations are required here!
Duties & Responsibilities of a Technician:
- Providing technical and diagnostic service, ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded.
- Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and ensuring compliance with manufacturer training.
- Upholding company and manufacturer quality standards.
- Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
- Communicating with the Service Reception and Workshop Control teams.
- Delivering good customer service, that leads to customer loyalty and referrals.
Your Background & Skill:
- Experience in inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles.
- Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance.
- 1 year main dealer experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in a dealership is preferred but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
