Sales Controller £35,000 Basic Salary | £62,240 OTE Permanent | Full Time Monday to Saturday (8:30am – 6:00pm) | Day Off in the Week | 1 in 3 Sundays (10:00am – 4:00pm) Our client, a successful main dealership, is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Controller to join their high-performing sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Sales Controller to take on a key leadership role within a busy dealership, helping to drive sales performance, maximise profitability and support the ongoing development of the sales team.

Leading a team of 8 Sales Executives, you'll play a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring targets are achieved while maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the Sales Department.
  • Stack and structure vehicle deals to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Sales Executives throughout the sales process.
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs and departmental activity.
  • Ensure compliance with finance, regulatory and dealership processes.
  • Assist with stock management, vehicle pricing and sales planning.
  • Handle customer queries and support the team in resolving any issues professionally.
  • Work closely with senior management to drive departmental performance and profitability.
  • Lead by example, delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales journey. Your Background & Skills
  • Previous experience as a Sales Controller within the motor trade is essential.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to maximise sales performance and profitability.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle sales processes and finance products.
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational skills.
  • Confident coaching and developing Sales Executives.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
