Biosolids Area Sales Managers - Hampshire and Sussex Austin Contract Services is seeking to recruit two Biosolids Area Sales Managers to join our team, covering Hampshire and Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong agricultural backgrounds who enjoy building long-term customer relationships and managing operational activities within a progressive, environmentally focused business. About the Role As a Biosolids Area Sales Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with farming customers across Hampshire and Sussex, helping to deliver sustainable nutrient-recycling solutions through the beneficial use of biosolids. Key responsibilities include: Building, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective farming customers. Securing approximately 4,500 hectares of suitable agricultural land each year in Hampshire and a further 4,500 hectares each year in Sussex for biosolids applications. Managing and supporting the biosolids operations team to ensure efficient service delivery. Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance. Completing and overseeing all required compliance, operational and regulatory documentation. Working closely with farmers and other stakeholders to plan and deliver successful biosolids recycling programmes. About You The successful candidates will: Have a solid farming or agricultural background. Ideally hold a current FACTS qualification, although training can be provided. Live in, or within practical travelling distance of, Hampshire or Sussex. Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Be self-motivated, organised and capable of managing multiple priorities. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and safety standards.
