Our client are a well established Groundworks and Civil Engineering sub contractor and due to consistent growth and several new projects starting, they\’re looking to take on an experienced Project Manager for various projects in & around Yorkshire county. The suitable candidate must have a strong sub contractor background (specifically within groundworks & Civils) and must be willing to travel between jobs (Fuel costs will be covered OR company vehicle provided) Requirements: * Strong groundwork subcontractor experience is essential. * Relevant qualifications in Project Management (HND or Degree) * Excellent communication, analytical skills and commercial awareness. * Proficient with IT (Microsoft Project, NEC3, NEC4 etc) * Full UK licence as you\’ll be required to travel between various sites. Duties: * Plan and programme groundworks activities (excavation, foundations, drainage, utilities, roads) * Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources to deliver safely and on time. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Monitor progress, costs, and variations; support commercial team with valuations. * Liaise with main contractor, client, and stakeholders; attend progress meetings. * Oversee inspections, testing, and quality assurance documentation. * Resolve site issues, risks, and unforeseen ground conditions. * Manage project close out, handover, and final account support.
