About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety, Quality & Environmental Advisor to join our team at our Yorkshire office. This is a key position supporting our ongoing commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and best practice across all operational sites. The successful candidate will provide expert advice across safety, environmental, and quality management, ensuring our projects meet legislative requirements and internal standards. You will work both from our office and on various sites locally and nationwide, supporting teams with practical guidance and oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional support and guidance on all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality matters
- Review and assess RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
- Implement new legislation and industry standards across the business
- Conduct site visits, audits and inspections across Yorkshire and the UK
- Support managers and operatives in maintaining compliance and safe working practices
- Promote a positive culture of continuous improvement
- Assist in incident investigation and reporting where required
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar Safety/Environmental/Quality role
- Strong understanding of current legislation and best practice
- Ability to assess RAMS and offer constructive improvements
- Willingness to travel to sites across Yorkshire and nationwide
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, environmental/quality certifications) are desirable
