Acrow Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a water and civil infrastructure project in Langport, Somerset.

Scope of Works:

  • Installation of concrete pump lines through an underwater tunnel using ground anchor winches
  • Water pumping operations including settlement and dosing systems
  • Underwater concrete pours and contamination monitoring
  • Concrete boom pump operations
  • Installation and removal of Porta Dams
  • Fish recovery works
  • Shuttering works near water in line with temporary works designs
  • Piling works
  • Concrete repair works
  • Pump set-up and de-rig operations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, and site operations effectively
  • Experience coordinating multiple work activities within live construction environments
  • Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills
  • Aware of environmental protection measures and pollution prevention controls

Essential Requirements:

  • SMSTS qualification (minimum)
  • CITB SEATS qualification (Online course)
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Invasive Species Online Training (training link provided - Online Course)
