The Client
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing subcontractor delivering projects across RC Frames, Civils, Groundworks, Cut & Carve and Basements. Due to several new projects in the pipeline, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their senior operational team.
The Role
The successful Contracts Manager will take responsibility for the delivery of multiple live projects, ensuring commercial control, programme compliance, and high standards of health & safety and quality across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple RC Frame, Groundworks, Civils, Cut & Carve and Basement projects
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Ensure contractual compliance and risk management
- Lead and support Project Managers, Site Managers and Engineers
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and main contractors
- Monitor programme, quality and HSEQ performance
- Work closely with the commercial team on valuations, variations and final accounts
- Report project performance to Directors
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience with a similar contractor.
- Strong background in RC Frames, Groundworks, Civils, Basement construction and Structural Alterations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently
- Commercially astute with a proactive approach to risk management
