We're seeking an ambitious, early-career Account Executive to join our expanding commercial team. Main Responsibility/ Job Expectations
- Be hands‑on managing a broad customer base across biotech, pharma, and academic sectors, with the support of senior sales staff.
- Handle inbound customer requests and qualify new leads.
- Learn to present our product portfolio and value proposition with clarity and confidence.
- Assist in preparing quotations, responding to tenders, and coordinating logistics with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and assist in pipeline reporting.
- Organise tabletop events in different science parks and participate in conferences representing the company.
- Receive sales and technical training from a supportive team.
Knowledge/Experience/Competence
- Degree (MSc desired) in a life sciences‑related field: Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Biochemistry, or similar.
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience, working on proteomics, assay development, with experience handling proteins and antibodies.
- Hands‑on experience performing ELISA, SPR, BLI, HPLC, or cell‑based assays/cell culture is a significant advantage.
- 0–1 year of commercial experience (internships, inside sales, customer‑facing roles all welcome).
- Self‑motivated.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence speaking with customers.
- Based in London or commutable distance – this is a hybrid role with monthly face‑to‑face interactions and joint customer visits.
- High business acumen.
- Strong data analytical and project management skills.
