Location: UK Salary: Competitive EXCELLENT BENEFITS • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Pension • Healthcare scheme • Life assurance • Employee Assistance Programme • Retail discounts • Training opportunities • 37.5 hours per week – 1 pm finish on a Friday To be successful in this position, you will have/be; • Strong experience in working with Quality Management Systems within the aerospace industry • Comprehensive understanding of aerospace quality standards and requirements (formal ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100 qualifications) • Comprehensive understanding of relevant aerospace regulatory standards (EASA part 21G, EASA part 145, EASA part 21O, EASA part 21J) • Proven experience in auditing (internal and suppliers) and managing the audit programme • Valid internal/lead auditor certificate for ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100 • In-depth understanding of quality tools and techniques and quality control procedures • Understanding of MOR (Mandatory Occurrence Reporting) process and requirements • Understanding of DOA-POA agreements, certifying staff, human factors and FOD requirements • Experience in liaison with third parties, including, but not limited to, certification bodies, regulatory authorities (i.e. EASA, CAA), customers and suppliers • Experience in managing audits in the aerospace OASIS database • Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and statistics • A good understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) • Proven experience with driving root cause identification and corrective and preventive action implementation through structured problem-solving techniques (such as 8D) with Suppliers and Internally. • Experience guiding colleagues or direct reports through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation as a structured problem-solving subject matter expert. • Experience in representing the company on quality and regulatory matters • Excellent organisational, reporting, procedure writing, process mapping, planning and project management skills • Strong risk and opportunities management skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business.
