This role is an initial 6-month fixed-term contract on a part-time basis (16-20 hours per week). The successful candidate must be proficient in Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approval, and documentation.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors to address payment enquiries, discrepancies, and issues in a timely manner.
- System three-way matching of supplier invoices or manually matching supplier invoices and managing supplier payment files.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, including vendor files, payment logs, and invoice documentation.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Monitor and analyse accounts payable ageing reports to identify overdue payments and prioritise payment processing.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes and increase efficiency.
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.
- Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, cloud spreadsheets, and ERP software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
