We are looking for talented individuals to join our Regulatory Finance and International Arbitration business in London. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of expert reports on a range of economic and finance issues in litigation and international arbitration proceedings.
  • Supporting regulators and regulated companies in price control determinations.
  • Regulatory due diligence support to investors acquiring regulated infrastructure assets.
  • Evaluation of climate change and energy policies.
  • Assessment of economic impacts of government policies and regulations.
  • Auction design and/or simulation, and competitors' analysis.
  • Development of pricing systems for transport infrastructure.

Associate Analysts and Analysts at NERA will have the opportunity to:

  • Apply technical skills and knowledge gained during their graduate studies.
  • Assist in writing expert reports and preparing presentations.
  • Perform and develop cutting-edge economic analysis.
  • Write research reports and prepare client presentations.
  • Influence project strategy.
  • Collaborate with in-house experts and outside academics.
  • Develop and strengthen both project and people management skills.
  • Develop and deliver internal training sessions.

You will need:

  • To hold a BA/BSc and a Master's or PhD in Economics and/or Finance with exceptional academic records.
  • 1-2 years' relevant work experience in International Arbitration or Regulatory Finance would be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and in teams.
