Role purpose

This role could suit a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of corporate work experience.

Sitting within the HR team, therole will play a keypartinsupportingthe delivery of Talent Development and Talent Management initiatives through the effectivemanagementof learning platforms, sharedinbox, and CPD reporting, and talentmanagement / review coordination.

The rolemayalsoberequiredtosupport our Talent Acquisitionteamwith administrative activities on our recruitment processesas and whennecessary.

Key responsibilities

  • Talent Development
  • CPD reporting
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records of CPD activities across the business
  • Monitor and follow up on CPD progress with managers to ensure timely completion
  • Professional Qualifications
  • Ordering and tracking qualification material for learners, processing invoices and updating records to track progression.
  • Renewing professional memberships monthly.
  • Actively promote professional body membership and qualifications and support learners through their journey
  • Managing learning-related joiner and leaver processes, including issuing induction communications, enrolling new starters onto learning platforms, and removing departing employees from learning systems in line with data management requirements.
  • Delivering L&D platform inductions.
  • Liaising and reporting for governing bodies and internal compliance to ensure business standards remain high
  • Coordinating the organisation's talent management processes, maintaining talent data, and supporting regular talent review cycles.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the central L&D team, promoting key initiatives and ensuring effective rollouts in local areas.
  • Driving awareness and engagement with L&D programs, including e-learning, workshops, and blended learning solutions.
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating the LMS and technical training platform, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Managing the T&D Inbox.
  • Collating management information for board reporting.
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Providing administrative support to our Talent Acquisition Business Partners (job posting, updating Recruitment system etc.)
  • Reviewing CVs and phone screening candidates for shortlists
  • Coordinating calendars for interviews
  • Administering assessments as part of the recruitment process

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree or has 1-2 years corporate work experience.
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with external candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Builds strong relationships and works effectively with diverse teams and individuals.

Desirable

  • Experience managing, administering and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS) or other learning technologies.
  • Experience managing and owning a shared team inbox, ensuring timely responses, effective triage, prioritisation, and resolution of queries.
  • Proven experience in a reporting capacity and able to manipulate data.
  • Experienced in sourcing and attracting high calibre talent (via ATS, Linked In and job boards).
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or currently studying towards a CIPD qualification.
