Acrisure London Wholesale is a leading insurance intermediary and corporate advisor/broker dealer offering bespoke and innovative capital risk and program solutions. Our expert multi-disciplinary team leverage their combined experience, market data and leading analytics to provide the very best placement and execution strategies. Become a member of a dynamic and successful insurance broking team working with existing clients and developing new business across the Marine sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships with prospects and markets and maintain ongoing contact at a senior level.
- Work with account management support during placement process to ensure quality submissions and presentations are prepared.
- Work with actuarial team to determine appropriate (re)insurance needs and communicate solutions effectively to clients and prospects.
- Negotiate with markets during the quotation and placement process of direct facultative and coverholder deals.
- Work with contracts department to prepare contracts and coverholder agreements.
- Represent Acrisure at client meetings, presentations, audits with (re)insurers and other events as appropriate.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and insurance markets.
- Work with account management, internal Claims Operations and Finance departments to ensure administration of accounts is going smoothly and help resolve issues that require broker assistance.
- Adherence to Company compliance and departmental procedures including file management and documentation and placement process.

Experience required
- Marine market experience.
- Significant broking experience in a similar role.
- Dedicated and collaborative team member.
- Proactive and execution oriented, taking initiative to start and complete new tasks.
- Take ownership and responsibility for quality, completeness and accuracy of work.
- Knowledge of direct facultative and binding authority business preferable.
- Demonstrates a high level of technical ability and has the ability to work alongside actuaries and interpret actuarial results.
- Has a strong appreciation and understanding of current issues affecting the Maritime industry.
