About the role: The Finance Lead is a hands-on role combining ownership of core financial processes, including month-end and reporting, with responsibility for delivering key financial initiatives across the group. The role balances BAU accountability with project delivery, ensuring that financial operations run effectively today while also driving improvements in how finance operates. This position requires someone comfortable working in a dynamic environment who can take ownership of both day-to-day financial outputs and change initiatives, from scoping through to execution and embedding sustainable improvements.

- Drive improvements to financial processes, ensuring greater efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across the group.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to successfully implement change.
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls, ensuring issues are identified, resolved, and processes are well documented.

- Drives improvement of financial processes across the group.
- Works closely with multiple areas of the business (and across finance) without a direct team, delivering through influence and collaboration rather than managing people.
- Requires strong fundamental finance knowledge and solid month-end experience, so there's a real understanding of how the numbers come together.
- Suits someone comfortable with change and transformation.
- Genuinely happy to roll up their sleeves - build, fix and deliver the work personally, not just oversee it.
