The Finance Lead is a hands‐on role combining ownership of core financial processes, including month‐end and reporting, with responsibility for delivering key financial initiatives across the group. The role balances BAU accountability with project delivery, ensuring that financial operations run effectively today while also driving improvements in how finance operates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver financial projects end‐to‐end, including scoping, planning, execution and embedding outcomes into the business.
  • Drive improvements to financial processes, ensuring greater efficiency, accuracy and consistency across the group.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to successfully implement change.
  • Maintain and strengthen financial controls, ensuring issues are identified, resolved and processes are well documented.
  • Influence and align stakeholders without formal line management responsibility.
  • Take a hands‐on approach to delivery, building, fixing and implementing solutions directly where needed.
