Acrisure is one of the world's largest insurance brokers, and Acrisure Building Warranties division is a well-established name within the Latent Defects, Insurance Backed Guarantees and Construction sector. The role is business development within our experienced team, who will provide support, training and assistance.
How You'll Contribute
We are looking for the successful candidate to take on some existing accounts as well as source new clients and opportunities from Contractors, Property Developers, Manufacturers and Suppliers of building products, Funders, Social Housing providers and Professional advisors. The role is sourcing, negotiating and securing new latent defects insurance business, insurance backed guarantees and construction insurance from new clients. You will be expected to source new clients by recommendation, undertaking professional presentations and networking. Whilst there are existing relationships, the role involves a significant amount of self-starting and looking for opportunities.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced candidate who has operated in this sector previously. Either within the insurance sector, or the construction sector, or ideally both. Professional qualifications will be advantageous but are not a specific requirement.
