Become a member of a dynamic and successful insurance broking team working with existing clients and developing new business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of preparation of insurance submissions for new and renewal accounts
- Assist with negotiation during the quotations process and placement process of both insurance and coverholder deals
- Liaise between Insurers to handle day to day issues, with responsibility for all aspects of service and support clients
- Maintain records of outstanding issues, monitor progress and ensure deadlines are being met
- Represent Acrisure at client meetings, presentations, audits with Reinsurers, and other events as appropriate
- Work with contracts department to prepare contracts and coverholder agreements
- Maintain ongoing relationship with clients and insurance markets
- Work with internal Claims, Operations and Finance departments to ensure administration of accounts is going smoothly and help resolve issues that require broker assistance
- Coordinate analyses of client portfolios with actuarial team to determine appropriate insurance needs
- Assist in the development of new relationships and conversion of new business opportunities
- Adherence to Company compliance and departmental procedures, including file management and documentation and placement process
Experience required:
- Ideally has A&H and/or Contingency market experience
- Must have Broking experience
- Knowledge of binding authority business preferable
- Demonstrates reasonable level of technical ability and has the ability to work alongside actuaries and interpret actuarial results
- Has a strong appreciation and understanding of current issues affecting the industry
- Keen to develop new relationships and maintain regular contact with clients and prospects
