Specialising in concrete works, civil engineering, and main contracting, we are a trusted partner known for reliability, technical expertise, and consistent project delivery across a diverse portfolio.
Due to continued growth, we are creating a new Site Engineer/Quality Inspector role to support quality assurance processes and provide ad hoc setting-out and technical support across multiple sites.
The Role
This is a hands-on, site-based position combining quality inspection with engineering support. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards, while supporting site teams to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections to monitor the quality of concrete and civil engineering works
- Undertake ad hoc setting out and dimensional checks as required
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
- Identify defects or non-conformances and support corrective actions
- Liaise closely with site teams to maintain consistent quality and engineering standards
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and photographic evidence
About You
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Quality Inspector, Clerk of Works, or similar role
- Strong background in concrete works and civil engineering (essential)
- Setting out with excellent drawing interpretation skills
- willingness to travel across Scotland and the UK
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working independently on site
