Acre is delighted to be mandated by a prominent global investment firm with a focus on impact investing and sustainable development in private markets to hire additional Legal Counsel capability for a fixed-term contract (FTC) of up to 9 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing investment business that invests across both developed markets and emerging markets. You'll enjoy a collegiate professional working environment, based in our client's London office.
As an integral part of the global group-level legal team, this is an exciting opportunity to work across and support private equity funds, focusing on fund lifecycle management, regulation and governance at platform level, with an emphasis on providing support to Luxembourg-registered funds. This is a broad role involving fund service providers, corporate legal matters, commercial agreements and projects.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Board paper preparation
- Analysing side letters
- Post-close legal support
Legal experience and competencies sought:
- Newly qualified to 3 years PQE, although candidates with more experience will be considered
- The post-qualification experience and/or traineeship will have been gained within a financial services environment/seat supporting investment funds, asset management or private equity
- Any understanding of international legal structures across jurisdictions
- Commercially minded with sound judgement and a pragmatic approach
- Proactive, solution-oriented and adaptable
