This is an exciting opportunity to join a global team on a 12‑month contract basis in the London office, playing a key role in deploying capital into high‑impact, nature‑based carbon projects globally.

Climate Asset Management (CAM) is a purpose‑oriented investment firm, co‑owned by HSBC Asset Management and Pollination, dedicated to delivering scalable natural capital investment solutions. CAM's purpose is to secure a more climate‑resilient, nature‑positive, and inclusive world through bold, scalable nature‑based investment solutions.
What You'll Do
This is a deal‑focused opportunity for an Investment Manager to be an integral part of the investment team, focusing on closing deals across afforestation/reforestation (ARR), improved forest management (IFM), mangroves, regenerative agriculture, peatlands, and other nature‑based solutions (NbS).
Role Responsibilities Include
- Leading the execution of specific transactions: to assess, negotiate, execute, and manage transactions related to nature‑based projects that can generate carbon credits, as well as interacting with potential partners and investors in delivering projects.
- Supporting deal origination and pipeline development.
- Contributing to investor engagement and reporting.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Asset management collaboration: working closely with asset management teams to ensure smooth transition from execution to operations and long‑term value delivery.
What You'll Bring
- 5‑10 years’ experience in transaction execution within real assets (ideally nature‑based or infrastructure projects).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
- Proven ability to structure and execute complex investments.
- Strong commercial judgement, entrepreneurial mindset and decision‑making skills.
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment.
- Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
Advantageous
- Experience in nature‑based carbon projects or natural capital investing.
- Project finance experience.
- Knowledge of international carbon markets and methodologies.
- Exposure to forestry, regenerative agriculture, or similar sectors.
- Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish or French).
