Purpose of the Role
The Clinical Trainer is responsible for providing expert clinical education and ongoing support
to Acre Aesthetics practitioners across our advanced skincare and energy-based device
portfolio.
Working with the Head of Clinical Education and sales teams, the role ensures that all
clinicians receive professional, enriching, and practical training that enhances confidence,
compliance, and competence.
The clinical trainer will be responsible for comprehensive training and delivery across the
North of England and Scotland clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Education:
• Deliver high-quality clinical education and hands-on training to new and existing clinics
on the use and application of both Skincare and plasma device.
• Present complex concepts in an engaging and practical approach suitable for
practitioners of varying levels of experience.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of skin structure and function at the cellular level,
including the physiological eIects of energy-based treatments such as plasma.
• Develop and adapt training sessions to meet the needs of diIering audiences within
clinical, aesthetic, and commercial settings.
• Support practitioners in achieving treatment and clinic goals through advanced
techniques, patient selection, and treatment planning.
• Conduct refresher training and ongoing clinical support as needed.
Technical & Clinical Support:
• Provide expert troubleshooting and guidance on treatment outcomes,
contraindications, and combination approaches.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging clinical evidence relating to plasma
energy, skin physiology, and medical-grade skincare.
• Assist in the creation and continual improvement of clinical protocols, reference and
educational materials.
• Ensure all training and documentation meet compliance and regulatory standards
Collaboration & Representation:
• Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams to
deliver seamless onboarding experience for clinicans.
• Support clinical demonstrations at exhibitions, events, and workshops maintaining
high professional standards
• Provide feedback to commercial teams on customer insights, training needs, and
areas for product or process improvement.
• Enhance Acre’s unique portfolio of device and skincare through evidence-based
education and customer experience.
Person Specification:
Essential
• NVQ Level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent relevant qualification).
• Proven experience working with energy-based aesthetic devices (e.g., plasma, RF,
HIFU, laser, or similar).
• Sound knowledge of skin biology, wound healing, and cellular regeneration processes.
• Practical experience in professional or medical-grade skincare and familiarity with
common aesthetic procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident and adaptable trainer, capable of working independently and managing a
varied schedule.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable
• Previous experience delivering clinical or technical training within the medical
aesthetics or skincare sector.
• Experience working with medical-grade skincare brands.
• Strong understanding of the physiological impact of energy-based treatments on the
skin.
• Experience supporting new product or device launches.
