As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market expansion for the business within your assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Representing the business and driving sales growth and market penetration of the company's products within your designated area.
  • Actively and regularly visiting installers and distributors throughout the working week to build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships.
  • Creating and maintaining targeted installer lists with each distributor, supported by clear action plans to win new business.
  • Promoting the full product portfolio, including microinverters, battery storage, C&I battery storage, and all new product launches across EMEA.
  • Planning, organising, and participating in joint activities with distributors, such as webinars, new installer events, exhibition support, and storage roadshows.
  • Working closely with training and marketing teams to develop customer training calendars and deliver basic product training where needed.
  • Developing and signing off comprehensive sales plans, including routes to market, value propositions, and scheduled actions.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts for assigned territories and customer segments (distributors and installers).
  • Ensuring timely completion of payments for all order intake.
  • Proactively identifying and acquiring new customers in line with company strategy and scorecard policies.
  • Reporting on sales activity as requested by management and participating in sales meetings as required.
  • Negotiating pricing in line with the company's pricing policy and only for approved products and services.
  • Regularly sharing market intelligence, including competitor activity, market share trends, pricing developments, legislation, and key market data.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience working with optimisers and module-level power electronics solutions.
  • Strong sales mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively within the country.
  • An established network of installers and distributors, or the ability to quickly build and expand one.
