Job Description
Work with community groups throughout N. Ireland to educate, support and encourage them in the development of positive climate and bio-diversity projects.
The job may be full- or part-time – negotiable.
We have offices in Armagh and Newtownabbey, but can work with groups throughout N. Ireland.
The salary is £32,000 pro-rata.
Responsibilities
Develop close, supportive relationships with community groups and schools in marginalised areas
Deliver courses to them
Advise, support and encourage them in continuing or developing positive climate and bio-diversity initiatives.
Qualifications
- Care passionatly about the climate and bio-diversity disaster
- Have experience of working with local communities
- A degree level or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject and two years’ full-time experience working with community groups or schools
OR
- Five years’ equivalent experience in a post with the primary role of working with local community groups or schools on climate issues
- Be able to work on own but maintain close relationships with a supportive committee
