Overview
We are a professional and friendly accountancy firm providing accountancy, tax and business advisory services to a wide range of clients. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, approachable team with a positive working environment. We are looking for a receptionist with administrative experience within a professional practice, who will play a key role in the smooth running of our office.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and by telephone, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
· Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing enquiries appropriately.
· Schedule appointments, manage meeting rooms, and maintain office diaries.
· Carry out general administrative duties including typing letters, filing, scanning, data entry, and document management (including submitting accounts and tax returns to authorities using our accountancy software).
· Assist with the preparation of client onboarding and accompanying documentation.
· Handle incoming and outgoing post.
· Maintain office supplies and support the organisation of the office.
· Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.
Experience
· Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator within a professional practice (accountancy, legal, or financial services).
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
· Excellent typing and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
· Experience in handling confidential information appropriately.
