We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundworks and site preparation, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Responsibilities
- Assisting with excavation, levelling, and groundwork activities in accordance with project specifications
- Operating basic construction tools and machinery
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Supporting the team in setting up site equipment and materials
- Following health and safety regulations diligently throughout all tasks
- Assisting with the installation of kerbs, paving, or other ground-related elements as required
- Reporting any hazards or issues to the site supervisor promptly
Experience
- Valid CSCS card is essential
- Prior experience as a groundworker or in a similar construction role is desirable
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and stamina for outdoor manual work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction tools and machinery is advantageous
