Hours: 35 paid hours per week (40 hours including lunch break)

Location: Tyseley, Birmingham. The company will be relocating to Redditch in 2026; applicants must be willing to travel to new premises.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Senior Warehouse Operative with a strong work ethic to join our dynamic and growing team. This role involves overseeing the day to day running of the warehouse while actively supporting and working alongside the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in a growing business. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and packing customer orders.
  • Carrying out product repairs.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the warehouse.
  • Moving and stacking pallets.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Using the company stock management system.
  • Communicating effectively with other departments.
  • Processing customer returns.
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, including time in a senior role.
  • Forklift operation experience (Counterbalance).
  • Basic maths and literacy skills.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation.
  • Familiarity with stock management systems.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move weighted boxes.
  • Proactive and adaptable attitude with a desire to improve processes.
  • Punctual, reliable and respectful.
Benefits
