About the Role: Step into a senior leadership role as Third in Charge, supporting the management team in delivering outstanding Early Years provision. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards and supporting staff development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Essential: Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised)
  • Proven experience in a senior practitioner or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager and Deputy in leading the nursery
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure quality standards
  • Lead and mentor nursery practitioners
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements
  • Support staff training and development
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and families
  • Cover management responsibilities in senior staff absence
