Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.
- Implement and maintain a high-quality, play-based EYFS curriculum.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Coordinate key areas such as safeguarding and SENCO responsibilities.
- Work alongside the Directors to support health & safety, recruitment, staff development, finance, and administration.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential).
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a nursery or preschool, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning opportunities.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- A creative, enthusiastic, and supportive leader who can inspire a team.
