Overview
Room Leader / Supervisor
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time 8:30am–4:30pm
Salary: Up to £15 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise room staff on a daily basis
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities
- Act as Key Person for a group of children
- Observe, assess, and track children's progress, reporting concerns to SENCO
- Maintain a safe, high-quality learning environment
- Support opening/closing procedures
- Liaise with SENCO, parents, and external agencies
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required
- Delegate tasks and maintain high standards across the team
- Conduct health and safety checks and risk assessments
- Attend staff meetings, training, and nursery events
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (UK recognised – essential)
- Leadership and communication skills
- Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
- Supervisory/senior practitioner experience (desirable)
- Professional, confident approach
Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)
Contract: Permanent | All Year Round
Hours: Full-time: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
Salary: £12.30 per hour (increase to £12.80 in April 2026) (based on experience & qualification)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
- Support children aged 0–5 with learning and development
- Create a safe, nurturing environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Support daily routines including mealtimes and personal care
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised – essential) OR Minimum 600 hours of documented UK nursery experience
- Previous nursery experience preferred
- Caring, reliable, professional approach
- Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
- Commitment to year-round hours
