Contract: Permanent

Hours:

  • Deputy Nursery Manager: Full-Time | 40 hours per week
  • Nursery Practitioners: Full-Time or Part-Time | Up to 40 hours per week (flexible working patterns considered)

Salary:

  • Level 2 & Level 3 Nursery Practitioners: Up to £28,000 per annum
  • Deputy Nursery Manager: Up to £36,500 per annum (Salaries are dependent on experience, qualifications and contracted hours.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
  • Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environments
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
  • Plan engaging activities and monitor children's progress
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery (Deputy Manager)
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor practitioners to maintain outstanding standards (Deputy Manager)
  • Support curriculum planning, staff development, and quality improvement
  • Step into the Nursery Manager's role when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Nursery Practitioners: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
  • Deputy Nursery Manager: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above with previous senior, Room Leader, or Deputy Manager experience
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional Early Years education and care
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
