Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain a high-quality, play-based EYFS curriculum.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
  • Coordinate key areas such as safeguarding and SENCO responsibilities.
  • Work alongside the Directors to support health & safety, recruitment, staff development, finance, and administration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a nursery or preschool, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • A creative, enthusiastic, and supportive leader who can inspire a team.
