Early Years Opportunities β Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader & Nursery Teacher
Location: Culham, Oxfordshire
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (flexible working patterns considered)
Salary:
- Nursery Practitioner: Up to Β£28,000 per annum
- Room Leader: Up to Β£32,000 per annum
- Nursery Teacher (QTS/EYTS): Up to Β£36,000 per annum

- Level 2 & Level 3 Nursery Practitioners
- Room Leaders
- Nursery Teachers (QTS or EYTS)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning for children aged 0β5 years
- Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework
- Create safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environments
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development
- Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
- Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
- Lead curriculum planning and model outstanding Early Years practice (Nursery Teacher)
- Lead and support a designated room, mentoring colleagues and maintaining high standards of practice (Room Leader)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery and support positive outcomes for children
What We're Looking For
- Nursery Practitioners: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised), Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting, Good understanding of the EYFS framework, Passion for delivering outstanding childcare
- Room Leaders: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, Previous Room Leader or Senior Practitioner experience, Strong leadership and organisational skills, Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
- Nursery Teachers: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Experience teaching within an Early Years environment, Excellent communication and leadership skills, Passion for delivering outstanding Early Years education
All applicants must have an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one).
