ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd are currently recruiting Early Years Practitioners to join a nursery setting in Northampton.

We are looking for passionate, reliable and caring individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.

This opportunity offers flexibility around your availability, with options for full-time, 4 full days per week, or part-time work of 3 days per week.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children
  • Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Planning and participating in engaging activities appropriate to children's individual needs
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with children
  • Supporting observations, assessments and children's development records
  • Working effectively as part of the nursery team
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment
  • Supporting safeguarding, health and safety procedures
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers

    Who We're Looking For

    We welcome applications from:

    Level 2 Early Years Practitioners
    Qualified to Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare and looking for a rewarding nursery opportunity.

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioners
    Qualified to Level 3 with a strong understanding of the EYFS and a passion for supporting children's development.

    Experienced Unqualified Practitioners
    We are also happy to consider candidates who do not currently hold an Early Years qualification, provided they have relevant nursery or childcare experience and can demonstrate a genuine understanding of working with young children.

    Working Pattern

    We can offer a range of working options, including:

    • Full-time: 5 days per week
    • 4 full days per week
    • Part-time: 3 days per week
    • Experienced unqualified candidates: ideally available for 3 4 days per week

    Working hours are 8:00am 6:00pm.

    What We're Looking For

    • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years environment
    • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification where applicable
    • A genuine passion for children's learning, development and wellbeing
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Reliable, professional and caring approach
    • Understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS
    • Ability to work effectively within a busy nursery environment
    • Enhanced DBS or willingness to complete the required checks
