Key Responsibilities:- Support the Manager and Deputy in leading the nursery
- Oversee daily operations and maintain high standards
- Lead, mentor, and support nursery practitioners
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Support staff training and development
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
- Build positive relationships with parents and families
- Cover management responsibilities in senior staff absence
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential)
- Proven experience in a senior or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Position 3: Nursery Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000 per year (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Setting: 40+ children, 15+ staff members
About the Role: Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, focusing on staff development and high‐quality provision within a well‐established nursery setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all aspects of nursery operations
- Develop and mentor staff through coaching and training
- Ensure high‐quality EYFS delivery across all rooms
- Maintain Ofsted compliance and safeguarding standards
- Build strong partnerships with parents and external agencies
- Oversee curriculum planning and child development
- Manage health & safety, policies, and procedures
- Support recruitment and staff development
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
