About the Role

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd are delighted to be supporting a welcoming nursery in Leicester with the recruitment of an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional to join a supportive nursery team and contribute to the care, learning and development of children aged 0-4 years.

You will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-4
  • Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Complete observations and contribute to children's learning records
  • Support children's individual needs and development
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider Early Years team
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of care and provision

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential
  • Previous experience working within a UK nursery or Early Years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, enthusiastic and professional approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy nursery team
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
