Our client, a leading UK manufacturer and global exporter of soft magnetic cores and Hall Effect Current Sensors, seeks a dynamic, sales-driven Managing Director to lead the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and execute sales strategies to expand global market share
• Achieve and exceed ambitious sales and profit targets
• Lead, inspire and grow a high-performing sales and technical team
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless handover from sales to production
• Build and maintain relationships with key international customers and partners
• Oversee P&L, drive profitability and ensure operational excellence

About You

• Proven track record of delivering sales and profit growth in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong leadership experience, ideally in a senior commercial or sales-focused role
• Experience with international markets and export sales
• Hands-on entrepreneurial and target-driven mindset
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Must have a “sleeves rolled up” approach relevant for a company of this size
