What the job involves
We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This role is crucial in expanding Acquired's presence within the subscription, insurance, lending, and debt collection sectors by identifying and engaging new business opportunities. You’ll own the top of Acquired's outbound funnel, converting cold outreach into a high‑quality pipeline for the commercial team. You’ll be targeting Founders, Heads of Operations, Finance Directors, CFOs and C‑suite decision‑makers at financial services businesses and subscription‑first companies, including lenders, collections firms, insurers and recurring commerce brands.
- Book a minimum of 10 qualified discovery meetings per month through outbound calls, email sequences and LinkedIn outreach.
- Manage a structured cadence of 30 to 40 personalised touchpoints per day across phone, email and LinkedIn.
- Build and enrich targeted prospect lists using Clay, Lemlist and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, keeping HubSpot updated and accurate at all times.
- Execute and iterate multi‑step outbound sequences in Lemlist, testing messaging, subject lines and CTAs to improve conversion.
- Work closely with the GTM Lead to refine ICP targeting, messaging and the pre‑sale process.
- Help refine core agentic workflows to extract prospect signals and data, to ensure we target the right accounts at the right moment.
- Feed prospect insights back to the commercial team to sharpen positioning and surface new opportunities.
