Requirements

  • Between 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales or business development role

What the job involves

  • The Commercial team is focused on driving new business activities and outreach to new prospective clients across our target sectors; whilst at the same time engaging in new untapped and emerging sectors aligned with our strategic growth
  • You’ll be responsible for hitting and exceeding individual, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • You’ll own and deliver the tactical sector plans for your area, using all data sources to identify new revenue growth and accelerate our product adoption and market share metrics
  • The role reports to the Commercial Director and works closely with key stakeholders across a talented, multidisciplinary team based in our London HQ

New Business Development

  • Identify, target and prioritise new opportunities within our target sectors and key customer segments
  • Proactively generate leads through networking, attending events, and leveraging existing relationships
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities

Sales Strategy Execution

  • Understand key sector and customer needs and pain points, and align Acquired's products and solutions to solve these issues
  • Develop customised proposals and presentations that highlight the value of Acquired's solutions
  • Refine and execute the sector strategy to achieve and exceed individual and team monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets and market share goals

Sales Operations

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from outbound lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless and efficient process
  • Data quality orientation consistently overachieves on pipeline and conversion metrics, harnesses all available tools and resources to accurately track and report on performance with minimal data variance
  • Analyse sales metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities

Client Advocacy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within target enterprise clients and industry partners
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific business requirements, enabling clients to unlock additional value
  • Act as a trusted advisor and point of escalation for critical client issues and negotiations

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Provide insights, trends, analysis and recommendations on improvements based on market intelligence
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging markets

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, promoting accountability and excellence
  • Contribute to content development, whitepapers and other materials in support of demand generation activities
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Influence product roadmap and development based on feedback from enterprise clients and market demands
