Acquired is a next‑generation payments business focused on powering recurring commerce. We are scaling fast and need a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to expand our presence in subscription, insurance, lending, and debt collection sectors.
Role Overview
You will own the top of Acquired’s outbound funnel, converting cold outreach into a high‑quality pipeline for the commercial team. You’ll target founders, heads of operations, finance directors, CFOs, and other decision makers at financial services and subscription‑first companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Book a minimum of 10 qualified discovery meetings per month through outbound calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Manage a structured cadence of 30–40 personalised touchpoints per day across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Build and enrich targeted prospect lists using Clay, Lemlist, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, keeping HubSpot updated and accurate.
- Execute and iterate multi‑step outbound sequences in Lemlist, testing messaging, subject lines, and CTAs to improve conversion.
- Work closely with the GTM Lead to refine ICP targeting, messaging, and the pre‑sale process.
- Help refine core agentic workflows to extract prospect signals and data, ensuring we target the right accounts at the right moment.
- Feed prospect insights back to the commercial team to sharpen positioning and surface new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of SDR or outbound sales experience; payments, fintech, or financial services exposure is a bonus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- High sales activity comfort: energized by volume, not drained by it.
- Resourceful and self‑directed: set your own pace and hit numbers without hand‑holding.
- Networking: comfortable engaging with professionals at various levels and building rapport quickly.
- Agentic and AI curiosity/experience is a big plus.
- Comfortable with rejection and failure as part of the process, with a bias toward reflection and improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in CRM hygiene, sequencing, and prospect research.
- A genuine interest in the payments landscape and the specific challenges within insurance, lending, and debt collection industries.

Acquired has an “All in” culture, focusing on results, intellectual creativity, problem‑solving, strong execution, and customer awareness. We strive for constant improvement, ownership, and positive, technology‑driven teamwork.
