Most marketing roles feel like execution. This isn’t one of them. At Acquire, you’ll work directly with the Founder to help build a modern, founder‑led recruitment brand operating at the intersection of content, growth, media, community and commercial strategy. You’ll help shape how ambitious consumer and DTC brands see us in the market, and play a genuine role in growing the business.

If you’re someone who:

  • lives on LinkedIn, podcasts, YouTube or modern creator‑led media,
  • experiments with AI tools for fun,
  • has strong taste in content and branding,
  • wants to build something meaningful rather than sit inside a corporate marketing team…

This role is probably for you.

About Acquire: Acquire is a modern talent partner for scaling DTC and consumer brands. We started with a strong focus on Growth & Marketing, helping brands hire exceptional talent across Performance Marketing, CRM, Ecommerce and Digital Growth. As our partners scale, we increasingly support wider commercial and operational hiring across:

  • Brand & Creative
  • Product & CX
  • Data & Analytics
  • Tech & Engineering
  • Operations, Supply Chain & People

Our ambition is to become the go‑to talent partner for high‑growth consumer brands as they scale from growth‑stage challengers into category leaders. We’re building a modern recruitment business with a strong founder brand, high‑quality content, deep market expertise and a long‑term ambition to become one of the leading talent partners in the consumer brand ecosystem. We’re now looking for someone ambitious, creative and commercially curious to help build that next stage.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing: This is a highly hands‑on role where no two weeks look the same. You’ll sit at the centre of Acquire’s content, audience growth and brand activity — helping turn ideas, conversations and market insight into engaging content and commercial growth initiatives. You’ll work directly with the Founder across:

  • LinkedIn content
  • newsletters
  • podcasts & short‑form video
  • market reports
  • outbound campaigns
  • events
  • founder marketing
  • client brand initiatives
  • AI‑powered content workflows

One day you might be turning a founder conversation into a high‑performing LinkedIn post. The next, you could be building an AI‑assisted content system, editing podcast clips, helping launch a market report or researching trends across the DTC ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving quickly, trying ideas and building in public.

What You’ll Get:

  • Direct Access & Mentorship: You’ll work directly with the Founder from day one — learning how a modern, founder‑led business is built across brand, sales, marketing and growth.
  • Real Ownership: You won’t be “supporting the marketing team.” You’ll have genuine input into content, brand positioning, growth ideas and business‑building initiatives.
  • Build a Personal Skill Stack Fast: You’ll gain hands‑on experience across:
    • content creation
    • audience growth
    • AI workflows
    • branding
    • founder marketing
    • B2B growth
    • media
    • recruitment
    • commercial strategy
  • Creative Freedom: We care about output and ideas — not corporate process. If you have strong instincts and good ideas, you’ll be encouraged to test them.
  • Opportunity to Grow With the Business: As Acquire scales, there will be significant opportunity for progression, increased responsibility and role evolution.

We Think You’ll Be A Great Fit If… You’re proactive, ambitious and naturally curious. You probably already consume a lot of modern business, creator, or startup content, and understand what good content feels like. You might come from:

  • content marketing
  • creator/media
  • social content
  • startup marketing
  • freelance creative work
  • growth marketing
  • a founder‑led business
  • or something completely unconventional.

We care far more about mindset, creativity and commercial instinct than a perfect CV.

You Should Ideally:

  • Be highly proactive and self‑starting
  • Have strong written communication skills
  • Understand social media and modern B2B content
  • Have a strong eye for branding, storytelling and content quality
  • Be excited by AI tools and modern workflows
  • Enjoy moving quickly and experimenting with ideas
  • Be commercially curious and interested in business growth

Bonus Points If You:

  • Use tools like Canva, CapCut, Riverside or Adobe Express
  • Have experience creating LinkedIn content
  • Can edit short‑form video
  • Use tools like ChatGPT or Claude regularly
  • Have an interest in e‑commerce, DTC or consumer brands
  • Follow founders, operators or creator‑led businesses online

Compensation: £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience. Performance bonus linked to company growth. Hybrid working from our brand new office in Westbourne. Long‑term progression opportunity.

Why This Role Is Different: Most early‑career marketing roles give you narrow responsibilities and limited exposure. This role gives you a front‑row seat to building a modern business and founder brand from the inside. If you’re ambitious, creative and excited by the future of content, AI and founder‑led growth — we’d love to hear from you.
