The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Respiratory Physiotherapist to provide specialist respiratory physiotherapy support in Sutton Coldfield.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Physiotherapist with a strong respiratory background who is confident working independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
Regular hours are available with flexibility around working patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete respiratory physiotherapy assessments.
- Develop and review individualised treatment programmes.
- Deliver specialist respiratory physiotherapy interventions.
- Support secretion management where clinically indicated.
- Deliver breathing exercises and breathing-control techniques.
- Support pulmonary and respiratory rehabilitation.
- Assess mobility, exercise tolerance and functional capacity.
- Develop appropriate exercise and rehabilitation programmes.
- Support safe mobilisation and physical conditioning.
- Monitor progress and response to treatment.

- Provide education around breathing techniques and symptom management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Provide recommendations and updates to the wide MDT.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Qualified Physiotherapist.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Relevant respiratory physiotherapy experience.
- Confidence working independently within professional scope.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Good understanding of clinical deterioration and escalation.
- Ability to maintain high-quality clinical records.
- Professional and reliable approach.

Rate
£30 per hour
