We're looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious ecologist with 5+ years consultancy experience who is ready to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway to Principal Ecologist.
About You
- 5+ years professional ecology consultancy experience
- Full Member of CIEEM (MCIEEM)
- Level 2 Bat Survey Licence (essential)
- Great Crested Newt (GCN) licence (desirable)
- Experience with UKHab surveys, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and habitat condition assessments would be advantageous
- Experience managing ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- The ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members
- A full UK driving licence
The Role
- Leading ecological surveys and fieldwork
- Producing high-quality technical reports
- Managing projects from quotation through to delivery
- Supporting planning and development projects across a variety of sectors
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues
- Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the ecology team
