We are seeking a dedicated professional to work as part of the design and engineering team in creating drawings and 3D models throughout the lifecycle of projects, from Design to Production and Installation, specifically for bespoke acoustic architectural products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating submittal drawings, shop drawings, and engineering documents for client approval and leading regional new product development. You will also generate production cut files and associated documents for the production team and create installation drawings based on site conditions and product limitations. Additionally, you will support internal projects, such as the creation of specification sheets, and undertake other assigned duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences
- Ability to interpret client needs and develop product detail drawings and shop drawings accordingly for client approval.
- Ability to create production files based on approved shops for digital fabrication and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
- Thoughtfully developing installation drawings to ensure ease of installation on-site.
- Must have a strong understanding of design and manufacturing processes.
- Have a good understanding of construction documents (RCP, elevations, etc).
- Highly creative individual with strong visualization design skills.
- Working Knowledge of ZUND systems will be seen as highly advantageous.
- A strong working knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite. Although experience with Grasshopper, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, etc. also highly considered.
- Highly collaborative individual to solve problems as a close-knit team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously to a high degree of independence.
- Detail oriented, organized, and can-do attitude are essential qualities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year (dependent on experience)
