Job Summary
Reporting to the EMEA Training Manager, the Programme Manager is the operational force for the Google Champions program across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This role is responsible for the flawless execution of the program\’s strategy, managing day-to-day operations, and coordinating its expansion across diverse EMEA markets. Crucially, the Programme Manager will act as the primary voice and representative for the EMEA region to our global counterparts, ensuring that regional insights, challenges, and successes are effectively communicated and considered at a global level. This position requires exceptional stakeholder management to build strong relationships with country-level sales, marketing, and operations teams, ensuring the Google Champions program aligns with broader EMEA training and enablement objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- EMEA Representation & Global Alignment: Serve as the primary voice for the EMEA Google Champions program to global teams. Champion regional needs, provide feedback, and ensure the global program strategy is effectively adapted and implemented across the diverse EMEA landscape.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across EMEA, including country-level sales, field teams, operations, and local marketing, to ensure cohesive program execution.
- Project & Timeline Management: Manage all program timelines, milestones, and deliverables for the EMEA region. Proactively track progress against the plan, identify potential risks specific to EMEA markets, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure objectives are met.
- Agency & Vendor Execution: Oversee the day-to-day relationship with external agencies and vendors operating within EMEA. Ensure partners deliver against their scopes of work, meet deadlines, and adhere to brand and regional guidelines.
- Multi-Market Coordination: Coordinate the operational rollout and ongoing execution of the program in new and existing EMEA markets. Support the adaptation of the program framework to suit local market nuances while maintaining core program integrity.
- Social Media Strategy & Community Building: Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to drive interaction and engagement within the EMEA Google Champions community. Utilise relevant platforms to disseminate campaigns, program updates, and product information, fostering a strong sense of community across the region.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across EMEA to track program success. Analyse regional trends, compile data into actionable reports for leadership, and recommend strategies to optimise program performance within EMEA.
- Training & Content Coordination: Partner with the EMEA Training Manager and content teams to ensure the timely development and dissemination of impactful product training and sales enablement materials that resonate with the EMEA audience.
Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in programme management, project management, or a related role.
- Proven experience working in a regional capacity, preferably within EMEA, coordinating programs across multiple countries.
- Demonstrated experience managing day-to-day relationships with external agencies or vendors.
- A strong background in retail, training, community management, or technology sectors is highly preferred.

- Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects with diverse stakeholders and firm deadlines.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent a region and build strong collaborative relationships.

- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in compiling and interpreting data to generate reports and insights.
- Expertise in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for reporting and collaboration.
