We are currently looking for a dynamic IT Operations Manager to lead the delivery of outstanding IT services across our UK operations. About the Role
As our IT Operations Manager, you will take charge of the day-to-day running of our IT operations. From field teams to depot logistics and our hybrid workforce, you will ensure seamless service delivery across every touchpoint. Leading a team of 7, you will oversee IT service management, end-user computing, helpdesk performance, and the effective management of our IT assets. You will work closely with business leaders and technology partners to align IT services with Acosta Europe's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IT Operations team, driving high standards of service and team performance.
- Oversee end-user computing across laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Manage the IT Helpdesk and implement best-in-class support systems and metrics.
- Ensure efficient depot operations and IT logistics for field and office teams.
- Maintain compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and support business continuity planning.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure service alignment and innovation.

- Proactively support Acosta's Ways of Working and lead by example.
- Uphold all company policies including GDPR, H&S, and mandatory training completion.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Proven leadership in IT operations, helpdesk, and service management.
- Experience managing complex IT projects and delivering end-user support.
- Skilled in ITIL frameworks, automation tools, and performance monitoring.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Previous retail, FMCG, or sales sector experience is a plus.
