Role Description
The Residential Support Worker will provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people living in the home in Wigan. This contract, on-site role involves building trusting relationships, offering emotional support, and promoting positive routines such as school attendance, hobbies, and healthy lifestyles. Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, supervising and engaging in play and recreational activities, and helping young people develop independence and life skills. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, following care plans, contributing to reviews, and adhering to safeguarding and regulatory standards.
