To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, supporting small groups and individual students across a range of subjects within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports
  • Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn
  • Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children’s progress
Qualifications
  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • QTS/QTLS is a requirement
