Acorns Day Nursery is a small, family run nursery based in Winnersh. With easy access to the M4, the nursery is easily located from Wokingham & Bracknell and surrounding areas with excellent links to public transport.
We need additional help during our busy lunchtime period. Duties to include:
- Working as part of a team
- Feeding babies and young children
- Playing with babies and young children
- General cleaning duties i.e. sweeping floor, wiping tables, cleaning toys & equipment
- Settling babies and young children to sleep
This is a part time role working each day Monday through Friday 11.30am - 2.30pm. However, we would consider applicants who would like to job share but please note this vacancy is not term time only. Additional hours may be available from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
A relevant childcare qualification is desirable for this role (NNEB, NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 in early years and education or similar). However, we would consider individuals who have experience working with children.
The nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. A fully enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
