At Acorns Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care for children and young people with life‑limiting and life‑threatening conditions, supporting their families through every step of their journey.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi‑site clinical consumable store inventory, monitoring stock levels and procuring stock when required.
  • Work with the Facilities team to ensure all medical equipment is maintained, repaired and replaced as required, meeting regulatory standards.
  • Undertake equipment audits and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in clinical stock and equipment management.
  • Experience using procurement or stock‑management systems and good IT skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements and regulations within clinical environments.
  • Passion for continuous learning, service development and collaborative working.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and required to provide two satisfactory references.
  • Must provide evidence of immunisation against specific diseases or confirm willingness to receive the necessary vaccinations.
